Getresponse Review - Best Email Marketing Software for 2021

Email marketing is one of the most under utilised and powerful tools you can have in your business whether online or offline, but not all email marketing software are the same. In this Getresponse review, I’ll share with you why I think Getresponse is the best email marketing software available.

Email marketing has been one of the most powerful techniques to drive sales to a business, that’s why there is the saying “the fortune is in the follow up”. More importantly, it’s one of the only ways to communicate with your audience that you personally own. If you build and grow your own email list, it’s your list and avoids the risk of getting ad accounts shut down, social media channels banned or Google slapping your websites or Youtube videos off the search engines.

That’s why it’s so important that when you build your business or even just start to build your business, that you collect your audiences emails. But what is the best email marketing software to collect your leads information?

To be honest, there are dozens of established email marketing companies, and hundreds of less established ones. However, when it comes to email marketing and everything that surrounds it, you need an email marketing provider with all the bells and whistles, so you can make the most out of your list.

That’s why you need Getresponse, and in this article we’ll dig deep into the reasons why.

Note: If you decide to get started with Getresponse today, you’ll also get bonus email marketing templates from myself to help you in your marketing efforts.

Getresponse Marketing Automation

Imagine being able to control all of your email marketing efforts all within one platform. I’m talking landing pages, email newsletters, autoresponders, webinars, surveys, forms and automation in one place. Then throw a really easy to use interface and mobile app to top it off. That’s pretty much what Getresponse offers.

In fact, I’ve been with Getresponse for the past 5 or so years, and I’ve often been curious to see what other email marketing platforms are like. After trying a numerous amount of other providers, I’ve always ended up staying with Getresponse for a few reasons.

The main one being their drag-and-drop Marketing Automation. This allows you to build a mind map of components of what you want to include in your email marketing efforts, and put it into one fully customisable blank canvas. It’s truly a game changer (especially for mental clarity).

Other providers do also provide marketing automation, but not as visually pleasing and easy to use as Getresponse.

Getresponse Pricing

The next thing that makes Getresponse the most desirable choice compared to other email marketing software, is the pricing. While most start at $25 for 1000 subscribers, Getresponse lowers the bar and brings it down to just $15 on a monthly basis. You can even save a bunch more money if you choose a 12 or 24 month plan.

You may be thinking to yourself, “but there are many free email marketing platforms” which is true. The main difference though is being able to remove the companies branding, adding in automations, having full functionality and not being restricted to how many emails you can send per month.

However, if you are on a budget and can’t afford $15 per month, you could always try this company.

There are 4 different plans you can choose from, Basic, Plus, Professional and Max. The main difference between the different plan levels is the amount of webinar features, employee logins and the amount of workflows. For most people, Basic is more than enough.

Getresponse Features

You’ve already had a sneak peak to how the Getresponse marketing automation feature works, but there are still many other features hat you can use.

Newsletters

One of the most common features for any email marketing platform is newsletters. This allows you to send an email to your entire list or segments of your list in one go. This is great for things like sales, time-based actions, newsletters and updates.

Autoresponders

Autoresponders are a great place to start email marketing for beginners. Basically, an autoresponders is an automatically created email or email series that can be sent to people who join a specific list. This is perfect for things like ‘lead magnet funnels’ which include free downloads, mini courses, etc.

Conversion Funnel

The conversion funnel feature is a new one for 2020 in which you can actually piece together pieces of your sales funnel and integrate with your shopping cart. This allows you to monitor progress along your funnel as well as track your conversions. Perfect for ecommerce!

Webinars

Some people will be up for this feature, others not quite yet. Regardless it is a great feature to have. This will allow you to host live events for your audience so you can encourage more sales or community building within your business. If you are on an upgraded package, you can also look into creating an evergreen webinar which will simulate a live webinar, but be entirely automated!

Landing Pages

Another one of the best features available inside of Getresponse is the Landing Pages feature. This allows you to create easy to use landing pages that directly integrate with your email list. This avoids 3rd party integration issues and instantly provides you results.

As the Landing Pages can be quite a bit topic for some people, I decided to shoot a dedicated Getresponse Landing Page video so you can see exactly how you can quickly and easily create a fully working landing page in Getresponse.
